Family Italy


Family Italy is a trip specially designed for parents with children under 12 who want a vacation which is educational as well as memorable. Children will enjoy the boats rides in Venice and see religious sites such as San Marco. A visit to a glass blowing shop shows the artsy side of Venice. Explore the Tuscan countryside and see the lush, chartreuse hills which this part of Italy is known for. Explore ancient Rome, the Vatican and see architectural works around town. Family Italy combines geography, history, art and antiquity that the entire family will talk about “remembering when”.

Day 1 – Venice
Upon arrival at the Venice Marco Polo Airport you will be transferred by private deluxe minivan combined with private water taxi to your hotel in Venice. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring Venice on your own.

Day 2 – Venice
In the morning you will meet your local licensed professional tour guide for a 5 hrs private guided walking tour to visit the main highlights of Venice including Piazza San Marco, Basilica di San Marco, Bridge of Sighs combined with a ride of the Venice canals on a private gondola.

Day 3 – Venice
In the morning, you will meet with your local licensed guide for a 5 hours private guided walking tour of Venice islands by public water bus to include the lagoon isles of Burano and Murano with its glassblowing factories.

Day 4 – Venice/Florence
Transfer from your hotel to Venice train station to catch the train. Transfer to Florence from Venice by Eurostar Italia high speed train (booking and train tickets not included).

Hotel check in and in the afternoon you met your local licensed guide for a 3 hours private guided walking tour of Florence main highlights including a skip the line tour of the Academia Gallery tour (which houses Michelangelo’s David)

Day 5 – Florence
Meet your personal English speaking licensed professional tour guide in the morning to visit the highlights of Florence with a 4 hours private guided walking tour to include the Duomo by Brunelleschi, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John or the Piazza della Signoria with its surrounding Renaissance buildings; the Loggia dei Lanzi, Palazzo Uguccione and Tribunale della Mercanzia, the Ponte Vecchio (the Old Bridge) and the Uffizi Gallery with skip the line entrance, home to the world’s largest collection of Renaissance paintings.

Day 6 – Florence/Sienna/San Gimignano/Florence
Private guided chauffeured 8 hrs Florence day trip to enjoy the Tuscan countryside and visit Siena and San Gimignano. Meet your personal English speaking licensed driver guide at 8.30 am in the lobby of your hotel to enjoy Tuscany.

Day 7 – Florence/Orvieto/Rome
In the morning 6 hrs custom tour transfer to Rome from Florence by private deluxe vehicle with 2 hours stop in Orvieto.

Day 8 – Rome
Meet your personal English speaking professional tour guide in the morning for a 6 hours private guided walking tour of downtown Rome through its Renaissance piazzas to visit the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon combined with a skip the line tour of the Coliseum and Roman forum.

Day 9 – Rome
Meet your English speaking professional tour guide to visit the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, Saint Peter’s Basilica and the Pieta’ by Michelangelo with a 4 hours in depth private guided walking tour. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10 – Rome

Day 11 – Depart Rome
