From City Palace we can see the most memorable part of Udaipur Lake Palace, shimmering like jewels on Lake Pichhola. Later we visit Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar lake and Saheliyon Ki Bari or the Garden of Maids.

Late afternoon we have sunset shoot with a boat ride at Lake Pichhola and visit Jag Mandir, the other island palace with a marble dome, is a marvel in red sandstone. It was a refuge for the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan when he was in exile following a quarrel with his father, Emperor Jahangir. (Breakfast)

Day 03 – Udaipur- Pushkar (Drive: 280 Km/ 6- 7 Hours)
Early morning photo shoot and breakfast at hotel. After breakfast we leave for a countryside drive to Pushkar.

Pushkar is a small little bewitching touristic town in the state of Rajasthan like a beautiful mirage on the edge of the desert, with temples, bathing Ghats, onion domes and chalk colored buildings clustering around its holy lake , which is said to have appeared when Brahma dropped a lotus flower. It’s an important pilgrimage centre and you’ll see plenty of Sadhus (Spiritual men), as well as countless chilled-out travelers experimenting variously with spirituality, Bhang and the facial hair. Pushkar boasts temples, though few are as ancient as you might expect at such an important pilgrimage site, since many were desecrated by Aurangzeb and subsequently rebuilt.

On arrival in Pushkar, we check in at our tented resort. Late afternoon we have sunset photo shoot at Pushkar. Overnight: Lohana Resort (3 Nights) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 04 – Pushkar
Morning photo shoot and breakfast at resort. Later we take a city tour of Pushkar.

Pushkar boasts temples, though few are as ancient as you might expect at such an important pilgrimage site, since many were deserted by Aurangzeb and subsequently rebuilt. The most famous is the Brahma Temple, said to be one of the few temples in the world dedicated to this deity. It’s marked by red spire, and over the entrance gateway is the Hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma, who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as its site. Late afternoon we have sunset photo shoot at Pushkar. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 05 – Pushkar
Morning photo shoot and breakfast at resort. Rest of the day is free to enjoy Pushkar Camel Fair.

The annual fair in Pushkar is serious business for villagers who spend days travelling across the desert to Pushkar hoping to turn camels into much needed cash. The Pushkar Lake is holy to the Hindus and religious ceremonies are performed simultaneously as camels are being traded. The night at the fairground takes on a Carnival atmosphere. The ferris wheel attracts line-ups of giggling Rajput women in their richly colored saris and sparkling bangles that stretch from wrist to shoulder. Roadside vendors sell pots, pans, bangles, saris, belts and other various items. Late afternoon we have sunset photo shoot at Pushkar. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 06 – Pushkar-Ajmer (Drive: 15 Km/ 1 Hour)
Morning photo shoot and breakfast at resort. After breakfast we drive to Ajmer, situated in the green oasis wrapped in the barren hills, it has been a witness to an interesting past.

Ajmer was founded by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan in the 7th Century A.D. and continued to be a major center of the Chauhan power till 1193 A.D. Today, Ajmer is a popular pilgrimage center for the Hindus as well as Muslims. Especially famous is the Dargah Sharif-tomb of the Sufi saint Khawaja Muin-ud-din Chisti, which is equally revered by the Hindus and Muslims. Later we visit the Dargah of Sufi Saint Khawaja Muin-ud-din Chisti. The Dargah at the foot of a barren hill is situated India’s most important pilgrimage center for people from all faiths. The mausoleum has a gigantic gate, which was built by the Nizam of Hyderabad. The two massive cauldrons in the courtyard are of particular interest and on the right side of the courtyard in the Akbari Masjid built in white marble.

Late afternoon we have sunset photo shoot at Ajmer. Overnight: Hotel Mansingh Palace (1 Night) (Breakfast)

Rai Singh had conquered part of Marwar and had been granted territory in Gujurat and Burhanpur by the Mughal emperor Akbar as a reward for his services as military commander. During his imperial service he travelled extensively, giving him an appreciation of art and architecture. These ideas have been incorporated meticulously into the architectural style of Junagarh Fort.
