A Different Perspective Photo Tours

Welcome to “A Different Perspective” a new kind of photo tour and the Different Perspective blog.

This is a very exciting time as TG Travels launches, this week, A Different Perspective, its new product line and business unit.

It is the result of my personal passion for traveling way off the beaten path as a journalist, my 27 years specializing in custom travel to exotic destinations worldwide and my understanding that the growing photo travel segment needs something new.

Whether you are a current or prior client, a friend or a travel industry colleague I’d love for you to learn about A Different Perspective and what makes it so special. It was created based around the following important concepts:

• Providing tours that go to less traveled and less explored amazing photo destinations like Nagaland in India, Albania which until now has never hosted a photo tour and remote tribal Ethiopia, as well as other tours that go to must see iconic photo destinations but do it in new and exciting ways
• Staying at 4-5 star or best available accommodations even extremely remote areas
• Teaming up with the best indigenous photo guides and tour leaders that have a passion for their homelands and who will travel with our small 6-8 person groups in an intimate fashion.
• Focus on using local businesses to provide accommodations, dining experiences and transportation whenever possible instead of the cookie cutter way of using large multinationals.
• Ability to combine immersive photo and authentic cultural experiences into a single lifetime trip.

You will find much more about a Different Perspective at our brand new website www.differentperspectivetours.com and I hope you will visit it soon. I would be grateful for your feedback to the new site, the product line, our destinations or any other area where you might have opinions and reactions. I also would consider it the highest compliment if you would pass the site on to anyone you know that might be interested. And of course I am always available to discuss your personal travel needs and plans.

This is the first of what we plan to be many periodic blogs, talking about our trips and our guides, as well as important and interesting trends in photo and cultural travel. Please click here to subscribe or contact me at 415-331-3791 or email teri@differentperspectivetours.com

Hope to speak with you soon.
