TROPICAL STORM KAI-TAK
The port authorities have closed Halong Bay to cruising as of this morning due to the impending arrival of tropical storm Kai-Tak.
Trails of Indochina’s contingency plans have been activated, travelers affected have been contacted, and we will continue to monitor the weather and coordinate with authorities. Individual updates regarding affected itineraries will be sent through via our Sales consultants.

FIRE IN PHUKET
We sadly acknowledge a fire which broke out in a nightclub in Patong, Phuket, due to a lightning strike early this morning causing injuries and loss of life. Trails of Indochina have accounted safely for all our travelers in this area.
Anyone concerned about friends or family travelling in Phuket should be directed to their Department of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Office, Department of State or similar.
