Nature is mesmerizing during the August monsoon in Myanmar! The photography is amazing with rain, umbrellas, colorful clouds, sky, trees, clear air, farmers working in the fields, busy rivers and amazing reflections of life everywhere. Win Kyaw Zan takes you on a photo adventure unlike any other. It rains about 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon. The rest of the time, you can photograph like normal but with diverse natural effects that no one else will have in photos. Shelters will be provided to shoot. Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival Yangon
Welcome by Win on arrival and transfer to the Hotel. After a break, orientation on the country, customs and photography. Optional: afternoon photography in downtown. China town, local market and shoot the reflections and people with umbrellas on the boats and capture the amazing moments on the river in the rain. Back to the Hotel. Sedona Hotel/ Similar Hotel (Lunch)

Day 2 – Yangon (Photography)
Early morning 5AM drive to central fish market and enjoy the raining season photography with beautiful cloudy sky with boats , fisher men and people working in the fish market. Back to the Hotel for breakfast. After a short break, we’ll go to a nunnery to photograph the nuns standing in line for lunch holding umbrellas . We’ll have a chance to photograph the nuns with the beautiful reflection , collecting rice , praying and have lunch. We’ll also visit a monastery . Lunch at Green Elephant Myanmar restaurant. After lunch, special visit to Shwedagon Padogda. Capture the amazing clouds over Shwedagon and we’ll stay late to capture the night photography. Back to the hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 3 – Fly Yangon-Bagan
Eary morning flight to Bagan. Photography in Bagan : Local market with colorful umbrellas , rich colors and people selling and buying in the rain. Panoramic view over 1000 years old temple. We’ll have a chance to photograph the amazing clouds over 2500 temples and pagodas. The local village , lacquerware making families, local farming village and people working and ploughing in the rain. Amazing monsoon photography in Bagan. Lunch at Nandar Myanmar restaurant with best Myanmar puppet show. We might have a chance to capture the amazing sunset with colorful clouds over 2000 pagodas. Back to the Hotel. Ayeyar Riverview Hotel/ Similar Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 4 – Bagan (Photography)
Early morning – Sunrise over Bagan. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Bagan photography: follow the line of monks to photograph the monks collecting the food from the villagers. Amazing photography in the village with rich colors and village life in the rain. Visit some amazing murals and we’ll also do the private photo shoot with monks and umbrellas . Monks praying with candles , monks walking with bowls , monks at sunsets. Overnight in Bagan. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 5 – Fly Bagan – Mandalay
Early morning flight to Mandalay. Short stop at Palaik ancient site with Pagodas in the trees. Visit a local school and proceed to Mandalay. Lunch at Ko’s kitchen . Check in Hotel. After a break , we’ll drive to Amarapura to photograph the world’s longest teak bridge, U Bein Bridge, with people, monks , villagers with things on the head . We might have a chance to shoot the sunset but the colors on the bridge and people are amazing. We’ll also have a chance to capture the bridge with amazing clouds. Mandalay Sedona Hotel/Similar Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 6 – Mandalay – Amarapura – Mingun – Mandalay
Photo session of the and inward to see the largest ringing bell in the world in Mingun.

Day 7 – Fly Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya
Early morning flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya.
Explore the the famous Pindaya Cave with its many Golden Buddhas.

Day 9 – Inle Lake (Photography)
Early morning sunrise photography in the village and more fishermen. Capture the Amazing Light and clouds over Inle lake and floating villages. Lunch at Nampam restaurant . Inle lake photography : local market, long neck family , floating villages with leg rowers with amazing clouds and lighting. Lotus weaving and silk weavings. Back to the Hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 10 – Inle Lake – Inndein (Photography)
Visit the jungles around Inle Lake to see the mysterious hidden Inndein pagodas. Back to the Hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 11 – Drive Inle -Heho -Fly to Yangon
After breakfast, take a boat ride back to Heho and fly back to Yangon. Photography in Yangon with amazing clouds, people with umbrellas, lunch at Shankan restaurant , downtown photography , shopping and night photography with the panoramic view. Back to the Hotel. Sedona Hotel/ Similar Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 12 – Depart Yangon
After breakfast, transfer to the Yangon international airport for the departure flight. (Breakfast)
