Royal India (7 days)

Day 1 – Delhi/Agra
Arrive in Delhi where you will be met and taken to board the Maharaja Express. The train departs for its first destination, Agra. Disembark and proceed on a full day tour to Agra for a visit to the Taj Mahal. This architectural wonder built in white marble is actually the mausoleum of Mumtaz built over a period of 17 years. Overnight journey to Sawai Madhopur.

Day 2 – Sawai Madhopur/(Ranthambore/Jaipur
Disembark the train at Sawai Madhopur and proceed for a jeep safari to the Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore, declared as a National Park in 1973, is the famous for its tiger reserves.  Lunch onboard and travel further to Jaipur.  Tour Jaipur to the Amber Fort, situated mainly in some distance away from Jaipur. The Chamber of Mirrors (Sheesh Mahal), Zenana (women’s quarters) and the Hall of Victory at Amber Fort takes you to the vintage journey of Mughal era.  Overnight  journey to Bikaner.

Day 3 – Bikaner
The city of Bikaner is known for its yellow sand dunes and forts and its palaces and temples built in red and yellow sandstone. Tour Junagarh Fort built by Raja Rai Singh in 1593 A.D, the Diwan-i-Khas, the Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), the Badal Mahal, the Anup Mahal and the Fort Museum. After lunch, tour the mesmerizing Sand Dunes of Rajasthan. Overnight  journey to Jodhpur.

Day 4 – Jodhpur
Disembark and tour the “blue city” of Jodhpur.  Explore Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the most. magnificent and largest forts of India. Here is a vast collection of arms, decorated painted porches, panels etc. Overnight  journey to Udaipur.

Day 5 – Udaipur
Your tour of the “city of Lakes, Udaipur, includes seeing the white palaces, havellis, ghats, temples, and lakes. Visit the City Palace, Mor Chowk, Moti Mahal, Chini Mahal, Zenana Mahal and Lake Pichola. Overnight journey to Vadodora.

Day 6 – Vadodora
Vadodara is a graceful city in Gujarat. Tour Pavagadh Archaeological Park, an antique ruin-town dotted over the foothills of Pavagadh which is the oldest rock monument of India. After lunch explore the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum to see marvelous paintings of the 19th and 29th centuries by Raphael, Titian and Murillo. Overnight journey to Mumbai.

Day 7 – Disembark Mumbai
Disembark in Mumbai early morning.
