Vietnam Flooding

Flooding in Vietnam update from one of our land operators on site:

In Central Vietnam earlier this week, there was heavy rain resulting in minor flooding of some of the popular tourist areas of Hoi An and Hue. The rain has ceased and both of these cities are returning to normal as water levels subside. All major tourist sites are now available including Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Temples and the Imperial City and Royal Tombs in Hue.

Some hotels located by the riverside in Hoi An were affected. The Life Resort Hoi An experienced some flooding with the gardens being inundated with water although the rooms remained dry and unaffected. Life resort did close temporarily from the evening of November 7th and will reopen for business on November 11th. All guests scheduled to stay at the Life Resort during this period were relocated to nearby beach resorts, Palm Garden and Golden Sands.
