Sausalito Artists has been offering a guided art studios tour for the past 2 years.
This tour is led by Teri Goldstein, Travels with Teri. You will hear a brief history of the art community in Sausalito before she introduces you to 5 professional artists.
This is a fun, casual tour where you have time to talk to the artists and learn about the process they use and the motivation behind the creation of their art. You will also have the opportunity to purchase art directly from our talented, award winning artists.
Who are Sausalito Artists?
Sausalito Artists is a large group of talented, local artists. All of the studios are located in the historic Industrial Center Building. Nestled close to the San Francisco Bay, toward the North end of Sausalito, The Industrial Center building is steeped in the area’s ship building roots, and rekindled by the creative juices of a vibrant community of artists.
Why is our Sausalito Art Studios Tour different?
Our tour is unique because it offers you the rare opportunity to observe each artist’s unique approach to the creative process as it happens. You also meet the artists who make the work, not just the piece itself.
Sausalito Art Studios Tour are family friendly.
We encourage you to bring your young children so that they may be introduced to various arts and have a chance to perhaps develop an interest of their own.

Annual Event
The first weekend in September Sausalito Artists host their big, annual event called Sausalito Artists @ Work. The studios are open for the 3 days over the long Labor Day weekend and the event coincides with the famous Sausalito Art & Music Festival.
